Thanks for the questions everyone. I’ve had a few different questions and I’ll do my best to sum all answer below;
I literally make all of the holsters myself in my shop at home. I do travel for a living and my schedule on average is 3-5 days away and then 3-7 days home. And when I’m home, you can find me in my shop making holsters. Which by the way, as mentioned before is something that I enjoy doing. My shop isn’t my dog house, lol. It’s my fun place.
I started out making all of my personal holsters, trying various things out, seeing what would work for me and what didn’t. My neighbors, friends and family liked my holsters and asked me to make theirs. Word has gotten out locally (Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area) and folks can bring their handguns to my place and I customize a holster to their handguns. Hence, my current gun list. Until now, I really haven’t had the need to build up my list. Now that I’m starting to branch out and sell online, I’m building up my gun list. By the way, family and friends in Florida, Texas, Louisiana, New York, New Jersey, California, etc.. have been on me to do this for a while now. And it’s exciting!
The best way to keep up with additions to my gun list, would be to just check back here periodically. As mentioned before, I’m still waiting on around 7 blue guns. The company that I’ve ordered them from told me 4-5 weeks back ordered. And that was around 3-4 weeks ago. So based on these figures, soon.
One more thing. I’m also trying to figure out the best way to do this so I don’t fall into the same problem that local holster makers are having across the country. They are having such a hard time keeping up with their orders and getting them out in a reasonable time frame. I know I wouldn’t want to wait upwards of 2 months for something that I’ve purchased on-line.
I’ve bounced this idea around, as I get my guns in, I’ll just make a batch of each continually. Then as I finish each batch, I’ll post what I have available to sell. Let me know what you think.
Thanks again for your questions and I’m sorry I can get winded at times.
